Last weekend we created a super cute dessert table for a pig roast. The client didn’t really have much instruction for me, other than it was a pig roast. I just LOVE when the client gives me creative freedom!
This is one of the cutest dessert tables we’ve done so far.
I realize now that I should have put a white table cloth on before the burlap, but it still had the look I wanted.
I’ve been super lucky, in that a lot of our dessert tables include the color red. We have a lot of red serving accessories.
For the menu, I decided to go with a rustic, less fancy spread.
Gluten free cereal treats made with home made vanilla bean marshmallows. Flour-less Fudge mini cupcakes with vanilla bean buttercream and chocolate pig snouts and pig tails.
Just to add some more pink to the table we made some simple pig cookies, heat sealed in cello bags with a red grosgrain ribbon tied to the corner.
The other sweets on the table included an assortment of Whoopie Pies: chocolate, maple and carrot, and brown butter chocolate chunk cookies.
I had been looking forward to doing a more casual and fun table and this one was it.
It’s been super hectic with cookie orders, so I haven’t had time for the blog, There’s a huge backlog of cookie images on my computer as well as a huge pile of cookies to be photographed. I’ll do my best to get everything up soon!!
Til’ then, Bye For Now!!
